Originally from Chicago, IL., Mehran honed his visual sensibility with work in graphic design and AAA video games, working on high profile titles at Midway Games, Shiny Entertainment and Double Helix.

Along his journey into filmmaking, he has contributed to projects for clients such as Justin Bieber, Fox Studios and Image8nineteen. He finally made the move to directing with the award winning short films, Room Enough & Committed. Mehran's portfolio includes Feature Films, Music Videos and Commercial projects.

His feature film directorial debut, Curse of Aurore, enjoyed a successful theatrical release in Canada, and is currently available on all major video-on-demand streaming platforms.

Golden, his most recent feature film, shot entirely on location in Italy, is just beginning its film festival run with the wrold premiere at the New York City Independent Film Festival on June 3, 2026. You can view the trailer here.
